TO CARRY

Caring for each other is not defined as work in our society. In TO CARRY, however, it is valued without being judged. In their short piece, Johanna Heusser and Olivia Ronzani examine different ways of carrying each other. How do they behave when they carry, how when they are carried. Carrying each other they explore the space. They draw inspiration from the animal world as well as from their mothers and fathers. The first time they show the piece is at the BASF-Areal, an abandoned building complex in Basel that no one has cared about for a long time - that nature has been taking care of for a long time.
